CUT OFF DATES
A child must be at least 4 years old by September 1 in order to enter K4.
A child must be at least 5 years old by September 1 in order to enter K5.
A child must be at least 6 years old by September 1 in order to enter 1st grade.

IMMUNIZATION: Are your children ready to enter kindergarten and 7th grade?
All kindergarten students must have on file at school:
1. Proof of 5 year physical completed since August 2002
2. Immunization certificate with completed 5 year boosters (dtap, polio, mmr, hepatitis B and vericella).

All 7th grade students must have on file at school:
1. Immunization certificate with proof of vaccination against: hepatitis B, a second dose of measles (preferably mmr) and a tetanus - diptheria (td) booster within the last 5 years.

UNIFORMS
All students are required to wear uniforms from the Sunshine Uniform Company. NO OTHER UNIFORMS ARE ACCEPTED OR AUTHORIZED. The Sunshine Uniform store is located at Carrell Corners, 3581 Fowler Street in Ft. Myers, just north of the Edison Mall. The phone number is 275-6005. Students are expected to be in uniform everyday without exceptions or excuses. The uniform includes approved belts, shirts, warm weather apparel, slacks, trousers, skirts, shorts, and other styles they offer at the store. They will answer any questions you have about students wanting to purchase a particular style if it is not authorized by ECS administration. They are also available at www.Sunshineuniforms.com. ECS has a shoe policy that is considered a part of the dress code for all students.
