Alumni

Whether you knew me as Mrs. Gerl or Mrs. Casey, I'll bet you didn't think I would still be here at ECS, did you? Yes, believe it or not, this is my thirty-third year at your dear old Alma Mata. After being a teacher, a vice principal, and the activity director, I find myself with yet a new job description. It's one I'm really excited about- Director of Alumni Affairs. It's a mouthful but it's really pretty simple, I get to try to find and contact all 1,096 of you. Yes believe it or not, when this year's class walks across the stage we will have graduated almost 1,100 intelligent and handsome young men and women.

Right now, what I am trying to do is find out what you have all been up to since graduation. Where have you been, whom did you marry, what's your job, and just how adorable are your children? How did ECS help you achieve the goals you set for yourself? Hopefully, you will send pictures as well. We are going to compile a "Family Album". We will post them on the new website and set up a display exhibit in the front lobby. We are justly proud of all of you. There is no better advertisement for a business than its finished product.

So if you're reading this, drop me an email telling me what you have been up to since leaving us and enclose a picture of your family. You can see the ones we already have by going to the "Sentinel Family Album" link on the Alumni home page. While you're at it, please complete the Alumni registration. I would love to have all 1,096 of you signed in. I get a real charge out of reading how well you have done and I know your friends and classmates will as well.

Bonnie (Gerl) Casey

Director of Alumni Activities

Thanks to a request from a former student, a new division of ECS supporters has been instituted. We have a large number of students who attended here for awhile and then, for a variety of reasons, left to finish their high school careers somewhere else. Many never forgot their time as a Sentinel and want to support the school and keep in touch with their former classmates. If you are one of these, here is your chance. Become a F.O. E.C. S. (Friend Of ECS) pronounced "Folks".

We still love you. Once a Sentinel, always a Sentinel !!! Go Big Red.
