Community Service

COMMUNITY SERVICE

Evangelical Christian School aims to foster in its students a concern and willingness to help those in need both at school and within the community. Galatians 6:10 encourages, "As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men..." As a result, Community Service at ECS is a top priority in both the lower and upper divisions. The lower school is involved in various mission projects such as "Project Argentina-2004." ECS students collected school supplies and shipped them in a container for a mission Christian school in Argentina.

In the secondary division, community service is a part of the Bible class requirement. Students in grades 9-12 are required to spend 10 hours in community service each quarter. Students in grades 7-8 are required to spend 5 hours in community service each quarter.

Evangelical Christian School admits students of any race, color or ethnic origin and grants to them all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded to or made available to all students at the school.
