Mission

MISSION STATEMENT
As a nonprofit, nondiscriminatory institution, Evangelical Christian School's mission is to provide an excellent academic education to students, preschool through grade twelve, in an environment that honors God; and to train students to reach their highest potential mentally, physically, socially, and spiritually.

SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCE
Evangelical Christian is able to support church and family beliefs in a clear, consistent manner. Children hear the same message at home, school, and church. The goal is to build a strong, Christian young adult who is able to go into the world with a heart for God, a mind trained in discernment, and an unchanging standard by which to live. The relationship that children have with their Lord and Savior can be developed and strengthened through the guidance of master teachers and positive peer groups.

Prayer and Chapels
A student's day begins with prayer and devotions led by their teacher or a fellow student. A lively connection to Christ continues throughout the school day using Biblical lessons woven throughout the curriculum.

With regularity, students and staff come together for worship during chapel. Parents, grandparents, and siblings are welcome to participate in this creative expression of God's love. Led by a variety of students, pastors, parents, and even grandparents, chapels knit the entire building together in worship and praise.

Bible Studies
The Bible is a textbook for life. Through Bible classes, independent studies, and study groups, our students deepen their appreciation for this instrument of God. Our teachers are guides helping students to discover the Bible's current significance and endless wisdom.

Journeys with the Spirit
Sometimes the best learning occurs beyond the four walls of the classroom. From field trips in the elementary grades to the senior trip at the Word of Life camp, students explore God's wider world. Our high school students are offered educational experiences that expose participants to different cultures. We challenge participants to wrestle with how they can impact the world as Christians.

Evangelical Christian School admits students of any race, color or ethnic origin and grants to them all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded to or made available to all students at the school.
