ECS Lower School Students Celebrate Our Veterans

On Wednesday, November 10, ECS Lower School students welcomed
veterans from our community to honor them for their years of service
to our country. Mrs. Shuford welcomed each of the veterans and had
them stand as their branch of military was called. Sergeant Major Cook
gave an inspirational speech to the veterans and students. Grade levels
showed their appreciation to the veterans by singing and reciting
poetry. Sergeant Major Cook then led the South Fort Myers High School
ROTC drill team. All in all, this was an exciting and wonderful day.
Administration, teachers, and students loved sharing this special day
with their honored quests, the veterans.
