College Guidance

As a Christian college-preparatory school, guidance at ECS is committed to partnering with students and parents to find the best fit for individuals beyond the four years of high school. The innovative, action-oriented curriculum makes academic superiority an eminent possibility. College prep classes are designed to prepare students to meet the rigorous demands of higher education. Through a comprehensive approach to guidance, students are exposed in grades 7-12 to classroom college talks, campus college visits, Christian College Fair, college-entrance test prep, academic advising, and individual student meetings. ECS guidance also serves the mental and spiritual health of students in the form of classroom guidance sessions and individual appointments upon request. A few of the resources utilized include: PSAT and Pre-ACT testing, ASVAB testing, host site for school-day ACT and SAT, Stanford testing, Naviance, parent meetings, and a financial aid seminar.
