The process begins with completing all forms in the application package accompanied by the required application and enrollment fees. The application process for new students is complete after testing and interviewing for admission is held. A student accepted for enrollment in one year is not automatically eligible for enrollment on any succeeding year. All K4 students must be four years old by September 1st to be accepted. All K5 students must be five years old by September 1st to be accepted.
Book costs vary by grade level and elective courses. K4-1st grade books will be ordered by the school (billed to your account) and given to your child on the first day of school. Second through twelfth grade students will need to order their books through Christ Centered Life Store for printed books and http://www.goecs.org for e-textbooks. Students are required to have their books on the first day of school; we recommend ordering them early.
ECS is registered as a non-public school, accredited through the Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools, Inc. (FACCS).
FACCS is recognized by the National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA) and the Florida
Association of Academic Nonpublic Schools (FAANS). Evangelical Christian School holds multiple accreditations in its dedication to excellence in Christian education. By virtue of the multiple accreditations, students can be assured transfer of acceptable credit to other accredited schools from
around the state to around the world.
Faculty members hold degrees from some of the finest colleges and universities in the United States. Each teacher is a dedicated Christian committed to the task of teaching and to the philosophy of ECS. Each faculty member is required to participate in the Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools’ certification process.
Using Christian curriculum that presents material from a Biblical worldview is of utmost importance to the administration at ECS. Also important is an academically challenging curriculum that ensures the highest level of learning. Careful consideration is made in choosing quality curriculum without compromising Christian philosophy.
The athletic program at Evangelical Christian School exists to provide its student-athletes the opportunity and competitive environment to use their God given athletic talents to glorify Jesus Christ. Our 6th-12th graders have the opportunity to participate in approximately forty sports teams. We are also a member of the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA).
